How to Edit a Bench You Created

If you found and added a bench to EveryBench, you can return to the bench page and edit its location, details, and photos. If you're not the founder but notice an issue, you can report it instead.

Accessing the Edit Option

You must be logged in and the original founder of the bench:

Open the bench detail page of the bench you created.

Tap the "More" button, then select "Edit Bench".

What You Can Edit

Bench founders can edit the following:

  • Location – adjust pin on the map if it was placed incorrectly
  • Bench details – update number of seats, access info, description, and more
  • Photos – add or remove images, update captions

If You Can't Edit the Bench

If you notice an error on a bench you didn’t create, you can report it to the moderation team:

Tap the "More" button and select "Report".

Choose a reason and leave a helpful comment to explain the issue.
