How to Search for Benches
EveryBench makes it easy to find the perfect bench — whether you're out for a walk, meeting a friend, or just want a quiet place to relax. Here's how to search effectively:
Search by Location or Name
Enter a city, postcode, or landmark (e.g. “Brighton”, “SW1A”, “Hyde Park”).
How to: Search by location
Tap the Search button on the bottom toolbar.
Tap the search bar at the top of the screen.
Enter a location name and select it from the list of suggestions.
Benches in that area will appear below the map and in the list.

Search by area using the Map
Map View: Zoom in or out and drag the map to explore benches.
How to: Search by area
Tap the Search button on the bottom toolbar.
Use your fingers to drag or zoom the map to your chosen area.
Tap the “Search this area” button.
Benches in that area will be shown below.

Apply Filters
Tap the Filter button to narrow your search:
- Accessibility
- Shelter / Shade
- Nearby Facilities
- Favourites
Tip: The number next to each filter shows how many benches match.
How to: Apply filters
In the search results area, tap the Filter button 
.
Tap the filter options you'd like to apply (e.g. “Mobility Friendly”).
Tap Apply Filters to refresh the search results.
